A brief summer reset

Summer often brings a different rhythm. Schedules shift, routines change, and sometimes we need to pause long enough to reset.

Some seasonal obligations over the next few weeks will limit the time I can give to writing the weekly devotions. Rather than rushing to put something together, I am going to use the remainder of July to refocus and prepare for what is ahead.

This could be a good opportunity for you to pause and refocus as well.

Take a moment to consider what has been receiving most of your attention lately. Ask God to help you slow down, listen more closely, and make sure your priorities remain aligned with His.

A pause isn’t a sign that something is wrong. Sometimes God uses it to prepare us for what comes next.

Weekly devotions will return Monday, August 3.

Until then, remember that God is still at work—even in the pause.
